Today's going to be a busy, BUSY day......

so many projects to finish (grateful for a DH that has been so willing to join me in the madness) for the Recycled Ranch Farm & Flea Market tomorrow!  Can't wait!  25 vendors will be there, including The Painted Porch!  Hopefully, you are making plans to stop by!  Sounds like the weather will be PERFECT--70's!  Woohoo! Might even need a little sweater, (ahem)  extra cash! ;D

Antique Washstand Yellow & Turquoise--absolutely beautiful!

These pictures don't even begin to do it justice!  It is in extremely good condition.  Drawers slide beautifully.  I estimate it's age to be late 1800's/turn of the century!  Came from Indiana.  Really cute paper in drawers.  Sunny yellow on top with hints of turquoise showing through.  I did some research on this piece and I believe that the hardware is original.  Very beautiful and plenty of storage with it's 3 drawers and 1 cupboard!  Perfect beside a bed, sofa or against a wall.  If you'd like to see it just let me know otherwise I just may keep this piece for myself!

Christmas is Coming and We're Offering Lay-a-way!

We know a number of you have had your eye on some of our larger pieces (aka more expensive!).  In order to help you be able to purchase them (maybe a Christmas Present?) you can do layaway in 2 or 3 payments!  ie. 1/2 now and 1/2 in December -- plenty of time for Christmas!  or 1/3 now, 1/3 December and 1/3 in January.  OR you may make payments more often, Item just needs to be paid for within a two-month time period!  Please note:  If you decide to put an item on layaway there will be no refunds as we will be holding the piece for you, thus making it unavailable for others to purchase!

I am Thankful For......

Can you believe that it is November already?  This year seems to have absolutely flown by for me! 

With it being November, I know may of us are thinking about the things we are grateful for.  I know I am.

One of the Many things that I am thankful for is this new biz venture!  I love working with Trevlyn.  She has such a good eye for "old stuff".  I always look forward to setting up so that I can see what treasures she has found since our last boutique! 

And I LOVE that it gives me the opportunity to create--it is definitely one of my passions.  I often feel very close to my Father in Heaven when I am creating and thanking him for this gift He has blessed me with.  I love seeing the happy faces my pieces bring to people!

And I am thankful for the incredible support that Trevlyn & I have received from all of you.  Your support has been a blessing not just to us but to our families as well.  May you have a blessed Thanksgiving!

November 10th Vintage Market

The location for the Junk in the Trunk Vintage Market on November 10th that we'll be participating in has had a change of venue.  Instead of being held at the Icehouse, as previously announced, they're moving back to WestWorld in Scottsdale.  For many of you, that may be even more convenient!  We'll have more space for more stuff and you're sure to find something from the 70+ vendors that will be there!

This is a SUPER chance to Christmas shop for the vintage lovers in your life!

VIP Entry begins at 7am and the $12 tickets can be purchased in advance only here.  Early Entry starts at 8:30AM for $10 admission and General Admission at $5 starts at 10AM!  The market will finish up around 3PM.  Kids under 12 are always free!

The Painted Porch's 1st Craft Class!

Okay, so we have had many requests wondering if we will be holding any craft classes. So, here you go--

             Autumn Letters - $25

             Thursday October 4 @ 7pm

I have only 8 spaces available. Papers and embellishments will vary slightly from picture. the "t" is approx. 5 1/4 tall and the width of the entire letters set up is about 21"

Please check your calendar before signing up here for the class. If for some reason you signed up and then find out you can't make it, please be considerate of myself and others and let me know so that I can let the next in line know they "are in!" And yes, that means that I will have a waiting list "just-in-case".

I supply everything! All you need to do is get your cute self here and have an enjoyable evening with other gals "getting your craft on!"
